| Özet |
| Various statistical scales and techniques have been commonly used to determine the relationship levels among the variables within the framework of the social sciences. An important issue that is encountered is to find the appropriate scale for the data the researchers acquire and the statistical technique to analyze such data. Generally, the scale types utilized with the purpose of collecting data in the scope of research also determine the statistical techniques to be used for the analysis of the data. In the research conducted in the field of social sciences, there has often been observed a tendency for the researchers to fall into the fallacies in selecting the scales and hence, to reach inconsistent results. The goal of our work is to correct the statistical fallacies and mistakes which researchers commonly fall into and which prevent them from obtaining more consistent and reliable results. In this study, the entrepreneurship tendencies of the students in the Department of Business Administration at Marmara University are measured in accordance with the use of scales. The answers of the students have first been acquired using the likert scale, and then the students have been required to weight their answers on a scale of 0 to 100. The perceptual differences are examined in the light of the reliability of the scale. |
