Özet
Purpose: In this study, simulation and experimental studies of direct power control for three phase pulse width modulation (PWM) rectifier circuit application are presented. Firstly, PWM rectifier was designed and simulated. Then, a prototype was designed to transfer 1 kVA of power to verify the developed algorithms.Theory and Methods: PWM rectifier and direct power control design were explained step by step. Simulation studies were conducted using PSIM program, all control algorithms were written in block C and embedded code was produced by the program. The performance of simulation and experimental studies conducted for the developed direct power transfer algorithm was proved.Results: Power transfer up to 1 kVA was achieved in compliance with the design limits. In addition, capacitive power transfer to the grid was provided with-600 VAr reactive power support. By ensuring that the total harmonic distortion of the currents drawn from the grid was below 5%, power transfer was realized in accordance with the standards.Conclusion: In this study, simulation and experimental results of active and reactive power control of three phase PWM rectifier were obtained. Direct power transfer calculations were performed by converting from the three-phase system required for the system to the dq plane, and tests were carried out at different active-reactive power values. TMS320F28335 DSP was used to control the system.
