Özet
Injection molding and 3D printing have become important technologies in the manufacturing industry in recent years. Both technologies offer a fast, precise, and cost-effective method in the production process. The difference between these two technologies comes from the methods of shaping materials. Injection molding is a process that produces highquality, high-volume parts by injecting thermoplastic or thermoset materials into a mold under high pressure. On the other hand, 3D printers create a part by depositing materials layer by layer. This method allows for the production of customized parts using a wide range of materials. Both injection molding and 3D printing offer significant advantages in the manufacturing process. Injection molding is ideal for high-quality, high-volume production, and parts produced by this method offer advantages such as high durability, excellent surface quality, and precise dimensions. 3D printing is advantageous in customized production, allowing for the production of parts in different shapes and sizes. Additionally, 3D printing is an important tool in prototyping. Significant progress has been made in both technologies with new materials, new design features, and faster production methods being developed. These advances have increased the applicability of injection molding and 3D printing. As a result, both technologies offer different advantages for different applications, and their importance in the production process is increasingly recognized and expected to continue to develop in the future. This study aims to compare the advantages and disadvantages of injection molding and 3D printing and convey the latest developments in these methods.
